Leia - Highly Specialist OT/Director
I am the founder of Butterfly OT Ltd. I qualified in 2005 from Canterbury Christ Church University with a passion for helping others; a strong advocacy for those unable to speak up led me to becoming a union rep and joining 2 loves—therapy and advocacy.
I roamed the different avenues of OT for a number of years, working through all sectors, and still love working for the NHS and have spent a number of years developing my skills around my passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals.
I am a highly specialized OT and studied Advanced Sensory Integration Practice to the master's level, earning me the privilege of being an Advanced SI Practitioner.
I have experience in providing assessment, intervention, and training in sensory differences and neurodivergent awareness in school and the workplace and for parents, carers, and professionals.
I am trained in story-based yoga, enjoy video games and comic culture, and can often be found building Lego.
Yes, I am in a box in the photo—after all, why choose to support children if you can't play every now and then?
